Drawing and painting is a long journey. With practice and review of these video lessons from time to time, you will learn something new each time, even in foundational lessons such as classical bust drawing or still life painting. Form, texture, perspective, proportion, spatial relationship, and color relationship, they are all related. If you practice multiple genres, you will be able to apply skills you learn from one genre to another. For example, practice of still life and plein air painting will also help improve portrait painting in terms of color observation, texture rendition and sense of space.
