A Tale of Small Paintings

A Tale of Small Paintings

The book is a collection of the artist’s mini-pleir air paintings done on his trips to Europe, Russia and the U.S. and during his time in China and Taiwan. These paintings measure 5 inches by 7 inches. The small size of the painting presents unique challenges. In this book, the artist explains how he came to paint mini-landscape paintings, the methodology, tools used. The book also presents 87 paintings and pictures for three of the mini landscapes while they were works in progress. For each painting, the artist includes a commentary about their settings, his thought process or the techniques used.
